Ingredients for Izmir Bomb
Half a glass of lukewarm water (100 ml)
¼ cup oil (54 ml)
1 tablespoon of sugar (13 g)
1 pack of vanilla (5 g)
1.5 cups of flour (210 g)
For the filling: cocoa-hazelnut spread
Directions
1- Put and mix all ingredients, except flour, in a mixing bowl.
2- Add the flour slowly to the mix to make a dough.
3- Cover the bowl with stretch film to rest for 20-25 min.
4- Once rested, dough is rolled and cut into 10-12 equal pieces.
5- Spread the pieces with the help of a rolling pin and put 1 spoon of cocoa hazelnut cream over the pastry.
6- Fold the edges of the pastry in a way to bring them together in the centre, to form a round shape. (But, make sure it is sealed nice and tight.)
7- Put them into the oven set at the highest temperature, and then reduce the temperature down to 220 °C.
8- Cooking time is 7-8 minutes. Remove them from the oven whey the tops are baked nicely.
9- Wait until the initial heat cools down and consume when it is still warm.
