Ingredients for Black Cumin Cookies
1 pack (250 g) of Butter
½ cup of Vegetable oil
5 cups of Flour
2 Eggs (white for stuffing, yolk for the topping)
2 Tbsp of Black Cumin
1 tsp of Mahalep
2 tsp (1 pack – 10 g) Baking Powder
2 Tbsp of Icing Sugar
1 + ½ tsp of Salt
3 Tbsp of Apple Vinegar
Directions
1- Put the butter you have softened in the room temperature, in a mixing bowl.
2- Add the ingredients in and mix them by hand except egg yolks.
3- Add flour slowly until you obtain a soft dough.
4- Pick up hazelnut-size pieces from the dough and shape them.
5- Rub the egg yolks you have put aside.
6- Bake in an oven heated up to 325°F / 160°C until golden brown.
