Ingredients for Chocolate Dipped Cookies
For the cookie:
125 g (1 cup) Soft Margarine
30 g (1/4 cup) Powdered Sugar
180 g (1 + 1/2 cup) Flour
40 g (3/8 cup) Powdered Pistachio Nuts
For the chocolate sauce:
240 g (8 ounces) Dark Chocolate
For the decoration on top:
Pistachio Nuts
Directions
1- Stir in the Flour, Powdered Sugar, Powdered Pistachio Nuts, and Margarine to form a shaggy dough (add Flour until the dough becomes shapeable)
2- Knead the dough for about 5 min
3- Preheat oven 150 degrees C \ 300 degrees F
4- Cut out the roll into the baking tray lined with greaseproof paper
5- Bake until just set and let it cool down
6- Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and dip the cookies inside (add small amount of Cream or Milk to thin the chocolate)
7- Strain the cookies using a fork and place them onto greaseproof paper
8- Add Pistachio Nuts or anything decorative
9- Frost the cookies for a while
