Ingredients
10 Tbsp Butter (250 g) (at room temperature)
½ cup Vegetable oil (120 ml)
3 Tbsp Starch (50 g)
1 package (2 tsp) Baking powder (10 g)
1 Egg Yolk
4 cup Flour (560 g)
FOR SHAPING:
1 Tbsp Cocoa powder (10 g)
FOR THE TOP:
150 g Milk Chocolate
2 Tbsp Chopped Hazelnut (20 g)
Directions
1- Mix the butter kept waiting in room temperature, egg yolk, starch and powdered sugar with your hands.
2- Add vegetable oil and baking powder and continue mixing.
3- Add the flour gradually and mix until it becomes smooth dough.
4- Take walnut size pieces from the dough and shape it in your hand by leaving one side pointed.
5- Lay the shaped dough pieces on a wax paper put on a tray.
6- Dip a knife or a stick in cocoa and form lines in leaf shape.
7- Let the doughs wait for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
8- After they wait, bake them for 25 minutes (Until the top becomes pinkish) at 180 Centigrade – 350 Fahrenheit.
9- Don’t move the cookies you removed from the oven until they cool off.
10- After the cookies cooled off, melt the chocolate in a double boiler and dip the oval parts in chocolate.
11- Sprinkle chopped hazelnut on the chocolate before it hardens.
