Ingredients for Broccoli Salad

500g of Broccoli
½ bunch of dill
1 clove of garlic
1 cup of boiled corn (200g)
7-8 pieces of small-size pickled gherkins
2 pieces of medium-size roasted capia peppers
1 pinch of powdered red pepper
½ tsp salt

For the Sauce:
Juice of half a lemon
½ teaspoon of pomegranate syrup (5g)
½ teaspoon of vinegar (4g)
¼ cup of olive oil (110g)

Instructions

1- Cut the broccoli into small pieces and put them into the boiling water in a pot.
2- Cook them until not too soft. (You can stick a fork into the pieces to see whether they are cooked or not.)
3- Once cooked, broccoli is taken into a separate pan using a strainer and cold water is added on top, to prevent them from getting too soft due to the heat.
4- Chop the capia peppers, pickles and dill into small pieces.
5- Put the broccoli, peppers, boiled corn, dill and pickles inn a deep salad bowl.
6- Mix the sauce ingredients in a separate bowl and add them into the bowl where you keep the broccoli.
7- Mince the garlic finely and add salt and red pepper.

Note: The amount of sauce ingredients, salt and powdered red pepper can be changed as desired.
