Ingredients

1 liter (5 cups) of Milk
140 g (1 cup) of Flour
200 g (1 cup) of Granulated Sugar
50 g (3 Tbsp) of Butter
5 g (1 pack) (1 tsp) of Vanilla

For the topping:
220 g (2 cups) of Coconut powder
100 g (1 cup) Coarsely Chopped Walnut
1 pack of Whipped Cream

Directions

1- Put the milk, flour and sugar in a pot and whisk on medium heat until it boils.
2- Turn off the heat and add the butter and vanilla into the pot an keep whisking for another 2 minutes. (You can also add Gum Mastic at this stage.)
3- Spread 2 cups of coconut evenly over the baking sheet.
4- Before the pudding you have prepared cools down, pour it uniformly all over the sheet into which coconut powder is sprinkled.
5- Rest for 1-2 hours in the fridge.
6- Prepare the whipped cream as instructed on the pack and keep in the fridge.
7- Lay the whipped cream first onto the rested custard, and then sprinkle the chopped walnut.
8- Cut the custard in the sheet into 4 equal parts, centring it lengthways and sideways. Cut the remaining part in 3 equal parts again.
9- With the help of a spatula, wrap around the custard you lift up by the edge and put it on the serving dish.
