Baked Rice Pudding – Get the recipe: See description below

Ingredients

1/2 cup of Rice (90 g)
1 cup of Water (240 ml)
1 liter of Milk (4 cups)
1 cup of Sugar (200 g)

For the topping:
100 g of Chopped Hazelnut (1 cup)

Directions

1- Put the rice and water in a pan and cook it on low heat until it boils down.
2- Add the milk into the rice once it has boiled down and continue cooking for 40 minutes on low heat.
3- Then, add the sugar and cook for another 20 minutes and distribute it evenly into the cups that can be used the oven.
4- Place the cups in baking tray and keep them in the oven pre-heated to 400°F / 200°C until the top is golden brown.
5- After it cools down, serve with hazelnut sprinkled on top.
